Renewal 2023
The Jack London Improvement District’s renewal has been approved by the Oakland City Council on July 18th, 2023, having received overwhelming majority support by voting property owners. The Jack London Improvement District was initiated in 2013 and services began in 2014. The nonprofit organization has been growing and working in producing community events, providing maintenance, beautification, and improvement projects, marketing and promotion, small business support, advocacy for public safety, and district interests throughout critical transformative long range projects, and much more.
This year has presented an exciting opportunity in renewing the Business Improvement District for another 10 years. Thank you for your support to ensure that JLID stays in the community in 2024!
